Terry Williams, General
Counsel

Mr. Williams graduated
summa cum laude from William Jewell College with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration. He received his CPA designation in 1981. Mr. Williams also
attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law where he received the
degree of Juris Doctor. He worked for Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young) in the Tulsa,
Oklahoma office, and as a Manager in the Kansas City office, and was responsible for tax
consulting, planning, and reporting services for a variety of
clients.
Mr. Williams worked for a
national employee benefits consulting and administration firm as vice president and senior
consultant. His duties included designing and installing a variety of employee
benefit plans, with emphasis on employee stock ownership and 401(k) plans.
Now in the private
practice of law, Mr. Williams practices in the areas of trust and estate planning, estate
settlement and probate, estate dispute resolution, business planning and formation,
charitable and tax planning.
Mr. Williams is
admitted to the practice of law in the states of Missouri and Kansas. He is a member of the
Missouri Bar; the Kansas City Metropolitan and Kansas Bar Associations; the National
Association of Lawyers; and the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants. He regularly serves as a guest speaker at local private and public
seminars for charities, churches, and other civic groups and professional associations on
topics of estate planning, estate settlement, and planned charitable
giving.
